The crime for which George Floyd was arrested was non-violent, as he was attempting to make a purchase with counterfeit money. There was a 911 call that reported someone who was later confirmed to be George Floyd, who used a counterfeit bill to purchase cigarettes.

Cup Foods was the name of the store where this event took place, and a store clerk made the call and reported the incident and gave the address of the store. They had detected he had paid for the cigarettes with fake money. When the clerk confronted Floyd outside of the store, he asked for the cigarettes back, but Floyd said that he did not want to give them back, and the cashier reported that he thought Mr. Floyd was drunk.

The death of George Floyd truly made a lot of difference all over the world. There are different people who went out on the streets and made sure that the death of George Floyd will not go to waste.

The main reason why he was arrested is that he allegedly went to a store and used a fake note. Take note that George is known to be a familiar face in the store and he was a regular. There may be something that he did at that time which explains why the police were called on him.

There are various theories that have been stated as to why George Floyd was killed by the cops. It seems that he and the senior policeman who was on the case are not in good terms.

George Floyd was arrested for a non-violent crime. A clerk at the local store Cup Foods called 911, as Floyd was attempting to purchase cigarettes with counterfeit money. While the police were on their way, the clerk went up to Floyd outside to try and get the cigarettes back but refused.

From there, the police came, which led to the viral video of the officer Derek Chauvin with his knee on Floyd's neck for eight minutes, while other officers stood by as Floyd laid there to his death. This non-violent crime led to a nationwide movement advocating for Black Lives Matter.

Police officers actually arrested George Floyd because of a suspicious fake 20 dollar bill that he passed in a market. Everything actually happened on the 25th of May, when he visited a grocery store in Minneapolis to purchase a pack of cigarettes. One of the employees in the store suspected that George Floyd had paid with a counterfeit bill, then he called and informed the police.

Mike Abumayyaleh, the owner of the store, made it known that he was not at his store when the incident occurred, but one of his employees claimed that Floyd had entered the store with a woman and a man. The man actually attempted buying something, of which the employee suspected the payment was made through a counterfeit bill, so he rejected the bill.

But some minutes later it's like George Floyd came back into the store to buy a pack of cigarettes with a suspicious counterfeit 20 dollars bill again. Then he followed the appropriate protocol and called the cops.
