Have you ever wondered why there are some people who try to avoid eating egg yolks? This is because egg yolks are known to contain more cholesterol as compared to egg whites. One thing that you can be sure of though is that when you are consuming eggs, you are taking in good cholesterol. A lot of the nutrients of the eggs can be found on the yolks which is why some nutritionists advise against eating only the egg whites.

The egg white is the clear area that surrounds the yolk while the yolk is the yellowish thing that you can find in the middle. When you cook them, the clear liquid becomes white which is why the egg white has gotten its name.
