If in case you are not too familiar with Dow, you should know that this refers to Dow Jones International Average. This is the most well-known stock index in the world. One of the main differences is the number of component stocks that are available. Another thing that you will notice is that between the two, Dia will have a broader market share as compared to Dow.

It will also provide more information if you want to know more details about the current US economy. Take note that both Nasdaq and Dia are required to use a collection of stocks in order to show how a particular brand is performing in the market.
