There are various tables that people can use especially when they would like to explain certain things. A dimension table will have different elements such as the surrogate key, natural key, and various attributes that may be needed to ensure that the table will provide all of the needed facts. A fact table will be composed of different elements from the dimension table.

The fact table is definitely going to be bigger than a dimensional table.
