A lot of people would like to get hugs and cuddles from the ones that they love. What exactly is the difference between the two? When you say “hug,” this is the act of putting your arms around another person. You can do it on the person’s neck, back, or even waist.

When you say “cuddle,” this is considered to be a more intimate act. When you cuddle with another person, this means that you are going to caress the person. This may also come with kissing and other more intimate actions. It can be easy to provide hugs to people especially if they need it because you can easily give hugs to friends. Some may even give hugs to strangers but cuddling would require a deeper relationship for sure.
