One of the most obvious things that you can see with the two is they are two different Microsoft applications. Microsoft Excel is a type of spreadsheet that will allow you to see the different data that you have gathered visually.

It will also make it easier for you to do different computations and calculations because there are different formulas that you can use for sure. Microsoft Access has a different purpose from Microsoft Excel. What this does is it makes sure that you will be able to store and manage data easily.

There are instances when you would need to find the right place wherein you know that your data can be safe and this is definitely something that can be offered by Microsoft Access.
