One of the biggest misconceptions of people is assuming that there is only one white color. Titanium white has to be one of the most common shades of white that is normally used by people when doing paintings and other artworks. This shade of white is known to be very bright.

It is so bright that it will have the tendency to look almost bluish, especially at certain angles. Zinc white, on the other hand, is a shade of white that will look almost translucent.

It is not the best type of white that you can use for tinting, but you can definitely use it as a base, especially when you need to do layering in doing a painting. Knowing the different shades will help you in making the best paintings.
