When you say primary research, this is the type of research that you will do. You will be using self-conducted methods to get the information that you need. When you say secondary research, this is a type of research wherein you will try to get information that came from other conducted studies.

This means that you will get your information from the studies that are related to what you are studying now. Most types of research usually start with secondary research.

Then, when you become curious enough about the details that you will get, that is the time when you would start doing your own primary research.
