The word good is an adjective, that is used to describe a person place or thing. An example of this would be “he looks good,” “veggies are good for you,” and “the carnival is a good place to visit.” Good can also be applied as a noun like canned goods, or an adverb, how good am I doing?

The word well is used as a noun, verb, adverb, and interjection. A well is a deep vertical hole that contains water; although, there are also oil wells. It can be utilized as a verb in tears welled up in his eyes, an adverb in we wish you well, or and interjection to express surprise. Both well and good can be used to describe how you feel.
