Renaissance and Middle Age are two time periods in European history. The Renaissance period occurred during the 14th and 16th centuries. The Middle Age period happened during the 5th and 16th centuries. Both periods had innovations that came out of them, especially in the fields of literature and arts. When it comes to literature and printing, the difference between them is how they printed. During the Renaissance, the printing press was used. Parchment was used during the Middle Age. Another difference between them came to their art and the themes that were prevalent. In the Middle Age, Gothic Art was popular, while during the Renaissance, humanism was the main theme.

Renaissance art focused on realism, Basketball Stars perspective, human anatomy, and the human experience. Artists like Leonardo da Vinci and Raphael brought a new emphasis on the natural world, proportion, and human emotion. Renaissance architecture revived classical elements like columns and domes.

Some people may get confused between the renaissance period and the middle ages because they are not too keen on history. Renaissance occurred during the 14th and 16th centuries. The Middle Ages happened in a completely different time. This has occurred from the 5th to the 16th century.

This means that the Renaissance period is part of the Middle Ages. When these eras are compared, though, it is obvious that they are very much different. During the middle ages, people still used parchment whenever they would need to write and deliver some news. By the time that the Renaissance period occurred, they were already using the printing press.
