Everyone has been affected in one way or another by cancer. Whether personally or through a family member, it is a condition that impacts everyone. Two of those cancers include breast cancer and lymphoma. Breast cancer impacts the breast. It can be found in both men and women. It starts out in the tissue of the breast and can spread to the lymph nodes. Lymphoma starts in the white blood cells. A person with these cancers will experience different symptoms. When breast cancer forms, a person may experience sensitive breasts and may have discharge from their breasts. With lymphoma, a person may experience fatigue or nausea.
There are a lot of people who may sometimes become confused with breast cancer and lymphoma. When you say breast cancer, this is a type of cancer that has originated in the breast. Lymphoma, on the other hand, is considered to be a type of blood cancer. There are instances when people may have both types of cancer, especially if cancer has already spread throughout the various parts of the body.
Some people who have lymphoma may not know that they already have it, but they may become diagnosed with breast cancer first. The lymphoma will have the ability to affect the lymph nodes first, which can be near the breast. This is the reason why they sometimes go together.
