If in case you are not too familiar with these things, UPnP stands for Universal Plug and Play. DLNA, on the other hand, stands for Digital Living Network Alliance. These are known to be guidelines that are available to be followed by different gaming consoles. These two can be very effective in allowing the various gaming consoles to connect to each other, especially when needed.

DLNA is normally used by various mobile device companies. These items are meant to be easy to install and share. For example, media files are easier to share because of this. UPnP is normally used more for streaming video games, which is why a lot of gaming consoles use it.
