When you are buying sunglasses, you may become confused when you are told that some glasses are polarized while some are not. What are the actual differences between the two? When you say polarized, this means that there is a type of filter that will be laminated on the glass.

This will allow only a certain type of light to pass through which means that you will be able to see better even when the glare is too bright. Non-polarized lenses, on the other hand, will not have the laminated film that will allow only the vertically oriented light to go through. What it will do is it will only block the light so that you will not feel your eyes get hurt when you get exposed to too much light.
