Raisins and sultans look the same because they are both grapes. Raisins are known as dried up white grapes, and these sweet little pieces of fruit are a very popular snack item. Raisins are also dried naturally, and no other ingredient needs to accomplish this. Sultanas are created from seedless grapes, and they are also dried up white grapes.

These little beauties are gold-colored, and they are said to be sweeter and juicier than raisins. Sultanas are not dried naturally like raisins. They are dried and dipped with the assistance of vegetable oil and acid, and this process is how they achieve their golden hue.
