Hemp protein is an ideal intake for vegans as it is a plant-based product, and the body finds it easier to get it to digest. On the other hand, whey protein happens to be an animal-based product, and it is less ideal for lactose intolerant people and vegans. Whey proteins contain more essential amino acids, while hemp proteins contain just a few quantities of essential amino acids.

Whey protein is richer in protein content as its powder contains 99% of protein content, while hemp protein happens to be lower in protein content as its powder contains just about 50% protein content. Therefore, when engaged in bodybuilding, whey protein provides more protein content for the body.

Whey protein has more cholesterol and contains saturated fats, while hemp protein contains unsaturated fats, which is of huge benefit to disease prevention and bowel regulation. Hemp protein contains more calorie content, while whey protein is low of low-calorie content.
