Hip Hop and Rock are two real famous styles of music that we have in pop culture. One of the things that really distinguished between these styles of music is the kind of instruments used in them. Hip Hop happens to be a genre of music that evolved majorly from the Bronx in New York as far back as the 70s. The guitars are majorly used to form the basic rhythms for the rock genre, while it's being supported by bass guitar and drums. The sub-genres of rock include blues, funk, alternative, jazz, glam, etc.
