Communism and liberalism are two distinguished terms that are used in politics. The ideology of liberalism believes that everyone should have his or her own freedom. Liberalism happens to be a political ideology that believes that each and everyone is free from all restrictions and interferences. Communism, on the other hand, does not support the freedom of an individual.

The political ideology behind communism supports that everyone is equal. Communism stands for a society without social classes or cliques but seeks the welfare of everybody in the community or society. Liberalism gives preference to an individual. It supports the formation of social classes and cliques. Communism does not have respect for any individual preference and believes that no individual is above the other.

Liberalism seeks a balance between the community responsibilities and individual, while communism gives more focus to the responsibility of the community generally. Communism deals with everybody as a whole, while liberalism deals with reaching the whole community by giving attention to individuals.
