A lot of people usually get confused with the difference between DTS and DTS HD, probably because they seem to be the same. In order to understand the differences, it should be remembered that DTS means Digital Theatre Systems. They make sure to provide the surround sound system that a lot of people would like to have, especially at this time.

DTS HD focuses more on creating digital surround systems for the movie soundtracks that will be used. You would like the OSTs that you will hear to sound great, right? DTS can usually be seen in the form of a disc, while the DTS HD can be found in a Blu-Ray disc.
