There are two types of telescopes that are available, namely reflecting and refracting telescopes. The main difference between the two is how the light will enter the microscope so that the image will be greatly magnified. Refracting telescopes were created first, and they required very clear glass; otherwise, the things that are supposed to be seen will not be clear enough.

Reflecting telescopes, on the other hand, would need to reflect light so that it can be used properly. They are usually bigger than refracting telescopes. They are more expensive as compared to refracting telescopes. You can use refracting telescopes when you just want something that you can use every day, while a reflecting telescope can be used for other purposes.
