The main difference between a DVD R and A DVD RW is the fact that the DVD R can only be used once. This means that once you have placed something on it, you can never remove the files that you have placed there. During the time that DVDs were very popular, people used the DVD R to place different songs. The DVD RW, on the other hand, is rewritable.

This means that even if you have already placed some files on it, it is possible for the files to be removed and replaced with other files as you see fit. Take note that both these CDs will come in various formats. You can choose the format that will be most effective for you.
