Knowing the difference between client and server will be vital for you. The client can be a program or it can also be a device that would rely on the web so that the right details can become available. A server can also be a device or a program that can provide the services that are being requested by the clients. The client will also be in charge of requesting the type of function or service that he would like. The server will be the one in charge of providing the type of functions that the clients are requesting. Some examples of clients are smartphones, laptops, and tablets. Some examples of servers are file servers and web services.
