A lot of people assume that the difference between white and yellow popcorn is only their color, but the reason why there is a difference is the type of kernels that are used to create the popcorn. The smaller kernels will become white popcorn while the yellow kernels that are available will become yellow popcorn. White popcorn will usually come from kernels that are sometimes as small as grains of rice.

A lot of people assume that the difference between white and yellow popcorn is only their color,
Yellow popcorn, on the other hand, will come from bigger corn kernels. Some say that the yellow popcorn will resemble the shape of pearls. Sometimes the popcorn may also change its color depending on the flavor. White popcorn will not have any flavor, or it can also be salted while the yellow one is already buttered.
