Bronze is a combination of tin and copper. Iron comes in a silvery light grey color, while bronze is a coppery yellow color. Bronze is denser than iron. It is easier to cast, but it is a challenge to forge. Unlike bronze, iron can be bent. Bronze can be more durable than pure iron, but it is weaker than carburized iron. Iron has a higher melting point of 1600 degrees Celsius, while bronze has a melting point of 1000 degrees Celsius. On the other hand, when it is heated, iron retains heat, while bronze cools right away. Iron rusts, while bronze does not. Iron possesses magnetic properties, while bronze does not. Iron is also more brittle than bronze.
