XML is a set of rules or laws governing the encoding of the document into electronic form. XML goes alongside HTML in the usage of the internet. XML usually defines the structure of a document, but it doesn't define the way a document is displayed. XSD is an acronym for the XML Schema Document, which is one of various XML schema languages that show what would be included in the document.

There is a particular aspect of XSD, which has been found to be one of the strengths it has s that it is actually written in XML. It implies that users who are familiar with XML would then know XSD, which eliminates any need to learn another language. The XSD is based on XML, and therefore it is written on it. XSD would ensure that data is interpreted properly while the XML would not. XML is poor at noting or catching errors, while XSD is better at discovering errors.
