Violin and Fiddle are two types of instruments that look very similar, and that is why people usually confuse the two together. The first difference between the two is that both are not played in the same. Violins are mostly used to create rhythms with some melody lines, while fiddles mostly played with danceable songs.

Playing fiddle is not as hard as when you are playing violins, and that is why a fiddle can easily be learned compared to a violin. Playing violins requires a level of concentration, and when playing it, it gives inspiration to people, unlike fiddle, that is played to make people dance.

Most times, when people start learning how to play violins, they are usually advised to first start with fiddles so that learning violin will not become a problem. Aside from the fact that both instruments are played very differently, they have a lot of things in common.
