It can be confusing to know the differences between the different types of JOINS if you are not sure what to expect from them. The left JOIN will be in charge of getting all of the records that are related to the left linked area and also the details that are related to the right table unless the details are NULL.

Right JOIN will be similar to the left JOIN but will get the details also from the right table. There are some people who sometimes think that right and left JOIN are not enough to provide what they need so they would rather use inner JOIN for getting the details that are common between the two tables. The full JOIN will get the record for both the right and left tables.
