5G and 4G represent the fifth generation wireless mobile network and the fourth generation wireless mobile network, respectively. The main difference between the two is their respective speeds. 4G was created to surpass 3G in terms of speed, and it is indeed a lot faster than 3G. With 4G, you can easily enjoy a lot of things like fast mobile browsing, high speed of HD TV on your smartphones, etc.

On the other hand, 5G is currently under development, and it is expected to give more speed than 4G. 5G was first tested in 2018, and it is currently being used in some states in the USA. It is believed that 5G will be 20 times or faster than 4G as soon as it becomes operational. Another difference between the two is Latency; this simply refers to the time it takes information or data to get delivered to the receiver. 5G is expected to have low latency compared to 4G.
