You may have learned that propane and butane are different from each other, but you do not know how they are different when they are both forms of LPG gas. One of the main differences between the two is their chemical structure. The chemical structure of C4H10 while the chemical structure of propane is C3H8.

Another difference is the boiling point. Propane has a bowling point of up to -45 Degrees Celcius. This is known to be the power source for heating in the industrial and residential settings. This can also be used for cooking and for heating water. Butane can be your choice if you want to heat something inside or outside your home. This can be very useful when you have portable heaters.
