Narendra Modi was born on 17 September 1950; he is the third child among six children. Narendra Modi was very humble from childhood that he helped his father to sell tea at the railway station before he later ran his tea stall with his brother near a bus terminus.

He completed his high school 1967 where he graduated as an average student and his very known by his friends and teachers as a keen debater. He left home after finishing high school due to his marriage with Jashodaben Chimanlal Modi which he abandoned and acknowledged several decades later.

He received a bachelor in political science in 1978, and a master's degree in political science in 1983 and also received a first-class honor.
