It was not really a surprise to a lot of people when Narendra Modi became prime minister back on May 26, 2014. This was his first term as the prime minister and people rejoiced because it was obvious that they liked him. Take note that before he became prime minister, he was the chief minister of Gujarat.

He was able to show his skills in politics and in leading people. He was the leader and representative of the Bharatiya Janata Party. Take note that while he may have been criticized in the past, he was able to create some policies that have allowed economic growth over time.

More and more people are starting to become familiar with the name of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, probably because he has started to become popular among the youth not only in India but also in different parts of the world. He became the 14th minister of Gujarat, and he was able to do a good job there.

He then decided to run as Prime minister of India. He became elected as prime minister last May 2014. He ran under the party of Bharatiya Janata Party or BJP and Rashtriya Swayamsevaklemak Sanghi, also known as RSS. He was born in the year 1950 to a Hindu-Gujarati family. He is considered to be the most popular world leader right now.
