The body will always go through different reactions that will ensure that it is working properly. Some of the reactions will be spontaneous, while some of the reactions will not be spontaneous. The spontaneous reactions will be called exergonic, while those that are not spontaneous will be called endergonic. For example, cellular respiration is one example of an exergonic reaction.
This means that there are some nutrients that are broken down in order to provide the body with enough energy so that it can start working properly. There are instances when this occurs without much effort because it may happen spontaneously. One example of an endergonic reaction is protein synthesis, which may occur in a protein molecule.
