UVA light is also known as longwave light. This is the type of UV rays that can reach the skin more. What makes UVA more dangerous as compared to UVB is because of its ability to penetrate the earth’s surface. Take note that even if you cannot see the sun, they are still present, and they can still touch your skin.

UVB rays are not as skin-penetrating as compared to UVA rays, but they can still be dangerous. This is the one that is responsible for getting a sunburn and other discolorations that may appear on your skin. If you have noticed that your dark spots have increased, this can be due to the UVB rays that have reached your skin.
