Culture is used to describe the manner by which people usually process their thoughts, the way that they act, and even their behavior. For example, the culture of certain people can be a shock to others who have grown up in a different culture because they can be exposed to something that is completely new to them.
For civilization, this refers to the way that people usually make an effort to improve the way that they live. This means that people who live in a civilization usually think that they are living better as compared to the rest of the people in society who may not be living the same way.
