Grout and caulk are known to be used in different ways, but some people can get confused with their uses. The caulk is great because you can use it to seal the different edges where water may start to leak. This is also effective if the area feels a bit damp and would need to be fixed soon. The grout, on the other hand, is used in order to make sure that the tiles will not keep on moving.
If you are going to create a rather large installation, it is better that you use grout as compared to using caulk. There is a big chance that caulk will begin to shrink over time, which means that your items may not become properly connected to your other items.
