The difference between the Sonos connect and Sonos connect; Amp is that the connect has a un amplifies unit while CONNECT; Amp has a built-in amplifier. The un-amplifies Connect is designed to run into an existing amplifier or receiver as a music source while Connect; Amp drives passive speakers directly via speaker wire.

The Connect has a digital and analog output as well as a line-level input that allows it to run output from an audio cable to an input on your existing equipment. The Connect; Amp is a 110-watt stereo amplifier that gives out 55 watts per channel.

The Connect; Amp powers a single pair of speakers, it can also power two pairs of speakers so long as the speaker is rated 8 ohms.

Sonos Connect and Sonos Connect: Amp is both new names for two of Sonos's products, i.e., The ZonePlayer 90 and the ZonePlayer 120. Sonos had recently made a few changes in its products, and this has also led to the renaming of some of their products.

Sonos Connect, which is now a new name for ZonePlayer 90, when connected to a home theatre, can be used to play different kinds of songs, and can also be used to stream music to any audio device. Sonos Connect can also be used to control your speakers even when they are positioned differently inside your home.

You can also use the Sonos Connect app to stream music on any device that supports it. On the other hand, Sonos Connect: Amp also has similar features like Sonos Connect. However, one of the major differences between Sonos Connect and Sonos Connect: Amp is that the latter comes with a 55 Watt power per channel integrated amplifier, whereas the former does not.

Sonos Connect & Sonos Connect: Amp are two ways to enhance the sound and features of your speaker. The Sonos Connect allows your existing speaker to have a wireless connection. It works with Alexa, but if you do not want to connect it wirelessly, you may use the digital output cable.

For it to work, you must already have a receiver because it does not function without it. The Sonos Connect: Amp differs because it includes an amplifier. It can also connect to Alexa and has 125 watts. Due to the amplifier, the Sonos Connect: Amp is higher priced than the standard Sonos Connect.

The only distinction between the Sonos connect, and the Sonos Connect: amp is that the connect: amp possesses an amplifier which powers to a limit of 55 watts per channel. The amplifier is an excellent add on to connect, and it enhances significant power to your speakers. Sonos has one of the most impressive reputations in the stereo game today.

The Sonos Connect: amp costs $50 extra than Sonos connect. There may also be a higher quality sound with the Sonos Connect: amp because of the additional amplifier.
