Oil and serum are mostly mistakenly for the same thing. Oil and serum are different things, and they perform a different thing. The serum is used to keep a healthy skin routine; it repairs and protects your skin from aging, hyperpigmentation, and acne.

It contains highly concentrated ingredients; the ingredient is molecularly formulated to be smaller in size, which increases the furthest layer in the skin. The serum is made with a lot of water, peptides, antioxidant-rich vitamins, or acids like glycolic or alpha hydroxy acids.

Oil is highly nutrition and hydration to the skin; it protects the skin from environmental damage, which leads to acne or premature aging. Oil helps to increase moisture. Oil has a special ingredient that helps to repair the skin such ingredient includes Vitamin B- the rich white truffle. This oil is found in Neogen White Truffle Laycure Oil Stick.

Oil and serum are most times seen as the same thing. However, there are some differences between the two, especially when you consider their composition and how they work when applied on the skin. Oils have different kinds of compositions i.e., so many ingredients can be part of their composition, and that is why they tend to heavier than serums. Oils are made up of ingredients that help to maintain the elasticity of the skin, and they also help to enhance the skin's ability to defend itself against diseases.

Serums are most times described as water-based substances that contain smaller molecules, and that is why they can easily penetrate into the body. In terms of compositions, oils are heavier than serums, because they contain so many molecules compared to serums. Serums are made from substances that are water-based, while oils are made from substances that are oil soluble.
