The correct answer to this question is four. Out of all the United States Presidents, four have been sadly assassinated. The first was Abraham Lincoln. He was assassinated while at a theater with his wife, while they watched 'Our American Cousin.' The second assassination happened to James Garfield. The third assassination happened to William McKinley, who was shot twice by Leon Czolgosz.

These two are lesser-known, but the fourth assassination happened to President John F. Kennedy. He was in a motorcade with his wife in Texas, when a shot rang out. Thankfully, since then, we have had no more assassinations happen to our leaders.
