Overpopulation is defined as a condition wherein the number of people that are available in one area is causing some forms of deterioration. The deterioration may occur with the environment, the places where people thrive, and people’s overall quality of life. When an area is too populated, there is a higher chance that people will have smaller spaces to live in.

Living in wide, open areas will always be considered to be more comfortable as compared to small spaces. Overpopulation can be increased by different things. One of the most common is the increase in the number of births in a certain area. Another possible cause is the migration of people from one area to another.
