A person with a buff body is one that has a well built, powerful, and muscular physique. Typically, people who are buff tend to be athletes and models, and they are fit and trim. While some may have bigger frames, some have small bodies but with noticeable muscles.

They generally eat more protein and fat and steer clear of carbohydrates. A person with a ripped body type has more defined muscles. They have less body fat, and their muscles are more evident. Bodybuilders have ripped muscle tones, and their muscles are well defined.

To obtain ripped muscles and achieve a hard- defined body, a person needs serious weight training and dieting. It is necessary to lose fat by consuming fewer calories — more protein to prevent muscle loss and carbohydrates for energy.
