1040 and 1040ez are known to be different tax forms. These are normally used by people who make less than $100,000 per year or those who do not receive income from their business. Form 1040 is known to be the simplest type of tax form, and this can be useful to those who are self-employed.

Form 1040ez is known to be the easiest one to complete, but it comes with different restrictions that you have to follow strictly. You need to know the different conditions so that you can be sure if you would qualify to get this form or not.

People who are not sure of the restrictions and conditions usually choose form 1040 because they know that this is not too complicated compared to the tax form 1040ez.
