People only look at the love side of the relationship; they hardly think about the fact that days of disagreements, conflicts, or what have you, are bound to happen in a relationship. Most relationships have ended just because both parties did not know how to go about resolving their differences and other little things that cause this problem in the relationship.

However, I am glad to let you know that you can prevent this situation from degenerating into something you won't have control over. One of the best ways to sort out things after a rift with your partner is to seek for a better time to draw your partner's attention to the same issue and go about it in a different way. Let her know why she decided to act the way you acted; let her also convince you about why she chose to act the way she acted. Critically examine the different views that led to the rift and come out with the best one. It is important to know that what brings about the rift in a relationship is when two partners failed to agree on one thing.

One of the things that should be expected in a relationship is quarrel, fight, or anything you want to call it. When you understand that days of the quarrel are inevitable in a relationship, then the problem can also be resolved. There are so many ways through which you can sort out things after a rift with your partner. The first thing is to learn how to say sorry whenever it seems you are the one at fault. What this alone will do to your partner will also amaze you.

When you say sorry, it means you're admitting your mistakes, and you want your partner to forgive you. And when the matter comes the other way round, try and learn how to forgive easily. When your partner offends you, you should always be ready to forgive. And you don't go about this by uttering words that will further add salt to the injury. After this, try and sit your partner down and discuss ways to forestall possible reoccurrence.
