EDGE is known to be a type of 2G technology although it is faster than the usual GPRS technology. Some people sometimes believe that EDGE is a 2.5 network because it is in between GPRS which is a 2G technology and 3G which is known to be faster. A lot of people would like to be connected to fast internet because this allows them to get the information that they need easily.

Being connected to the internet also allows people to download different media files. They can also download different applications and software. It can be enough to make a lot of people feel delighted when the internet is fast.
