NSAIDs and Acetaminophen are both pain relievers that people may use especially when they are experiencing some muscle pain. These may also be taken by those who have a fever. One example of acetaminophen is Tylenol. This type of medication is processed in the liver which explains why it should not be taken often. NSAIDs are processed in different parts of the body.

The main difference between the two is that NSAIDs will have the ability to reduce inflammation and can also be effective in getting rid of irritation and swelling. This is not something that Acetaminophen will be able to do. Acetaminophen will be more effective in getting rid of headaches that may be caused by fatigue or stress.
