PP and HDPE are known to be food containers that can be used in order to pack different food products. PP means Polypropylene while HDPE stands for High-Density Polyethylene. PP is obviously made out of polypropylene while HDPE is made with petroleum. These are known to be two types of plastics that are can be similar to each other but their molecular chain structures are different.

PP is known to melt faster as compared to HDPE which explains why there are more products that are being packed with HDPE as compared to PP. HDPE is also more used for the creation of gas pipes, chemical resistant piping systems, and so much more.
