The logical address is the type of address that is shown by the CPU. This is the virtual address that the user can check out and view. The user will not be able to see the physical address properly but this will be available in the memory unit of the computer.

The logical address is normally used by the user so that the physical address can be addressed. The physical address is also computed by the MMU. Take note that the methods that will be used for using both are different from each other. Users should know what they would like to achieve from these addresses to be sure with what they will get.
