The main difference between socialism and anarchism is that socialism is a type of government, while anarchism is a type of ideology that can be considered as a branch of socialism. The government of socialism believes that the government should control the different available resources. They believe that through proper planning, the results that people would like to get will be achieved.

Those who believe in anarchism think that the government is taking control too much of people’s lives. They would like to have the freedom and the ability to create their own decisions. They believe that the government will oppress those who are weak.
