Strabismus and amblyopia are known to be the scientific terms that are used to describe a couple of eye alignment problems. Amblyopia is known to be a problem wherein it is not possible for people to see clearly even when they have glasses on. These conditions may stem from the poor development of the eyes.

In more common terms, strabismus is considered to be crossed eyes while amblyopia is also known as the lazy eye. When a person is crossed eye, the eyes are unable to focus on one thing at the same time. Amblyopia means that the development of one or both eyes is stunted because of a possible medical condition and so much more.
