Omniscient and Omnipotent are two words that are used mostly by believers whenever they want to talk about the attributes of God. The one part of the two is a Latin word, which means 'all'. These two words are special because they are referring to God; the supreme being. Both words are adjectives, and they can be used as nouns. Being an Omniscient means having enough knowledge about everything. It is a word that can be used to refer to someone that is all-knowing.

People think of God as the only person with the full knowledge of everything that hasn't been revealed to man. Omnipotent, on the other hand, means to have unlimited power, authority, or force. The word omnipotent has its origin from the Latin word "omnipotentem". The 'potent' part means powerful, and together with Omni, it forms all-powerful. This word can only be used for someone who has demonstrated this ability, and that person is God.

Both terms are approaching similar and are usually used with each other in the context of religion. Omniscient pertains to infinite knowledge, awareness, understanding, wisdom, or perception. It is also used as related to universality and wholeness of mentioned attributes. Omniscient can be categorized as inherent (to know things a being wants to know and also what can be known) and total (knowing all things regardless of aspiration or inclination) — omnipotent means infinite power, authority, and might.

A being who obtains this level of power would undertake total control of all realms and situations. The Supreme being of any faith is believed to be omnipotent and having powers beyond the imagination. The Supreme being is also considered as reliable and in agreement to its nature.

Omniscient means limitless knowledge while omnipresent means limitless power. When someone is omniscient, this means that the person is wise. He has universal knowledge and he knows things that other people may not know. Someone who is omnipresent has the ability to do everything that his heart desires. He would be powerful and mighty in doing what he thinks will work best for a lot of people.

Human beings may show some signs of being omniscient and omnipresent but some say that only God is like this. He knows everything and you cannot hide everything from his. He is also very powerful and he will change people’s lives in an instant.
