What is the difference between Terrorist and Freedom Fighter?

There is a big difference between a terrorist and a freedom fighter. Most times, people don't. There is a big difference between the two. At times, people just use any name for anybody that is pursuing a struggle. A terrorist is a person, group that uses fear or violence to manipulate people and cause them to behave in a certain way, for political goals. A terrorist comes with an evil ideology and uses fearful situations or things to force people to believe the same thing.

There are so many terrorist groups in the world, e.g., al-Qaeda, Boko Haram, etc. A freedom fighter, on the other hand, is someone who acts based on people's interests with a very strong determination to end any form of injustice being done to a certain group of people. For example, a freedom fighter can arise and fight with authorities in an attempt to liberate his people from oppression and slavery.

A terrorist is perceived as a person who uses fear to persuade the civilians so that they can conduct themselves in a specific political manner. A freedom fighter is regarded as someone who acts on behalf of civilians who are oppressed to ensure that they get liberty, justice, and freedom. A freedom fighter will often fight to abolish oppression, which generally comes in the framework of colonialism where one state colonizes the other state.

A freedom fighter is committed to liberating the oppressed through an armed struggle where the aim is to remove the oppressive system. Terrorist groups are usually comprised of prosperous people who possess the financial resources to obtain weapons of mass destructions they use in fulfilling their agenda. They want to cause harm and destruction and pain.

Today, it is often heard that there are many terrorists in the world. Many armies are helping to try to eliminate the terrorists by going over to their countries and fighting them. Terrorists are those who act by killing who they deem to be the enemy even if they kill innocent people.

A freedom fighter on the other hand is someone who takes part in a movement usually during a war that is against another group of people who want to try to take over their country. There were many freedom fighters during World War II. They fought with a resistance movement against the Nazis in order to try and stop them. Terrorists do not target a certain type of people but just a country. Freedom fighters target the army of the enemy.
