A lot of people who love using gadgets will probably know the difference between the two. Bluetooth will allow different gadgets to connect with each other so that they can send images and other media files easily. The WiFi is something that gadgets can connect to so that they will also be connected to the internet. The range of the two is also different from each other.

WiFi is known to have a longer range because it can have a range of up to 100 meters. The power consumption of the Bluetooth is low and your gadget will not be too affected if you would use this often. The WiFi power consumption is high and this is why people would need to charge their gadgets often to stay connected.

If you need wireless communication, then you may look at Bluetooth and wifi to help you out. Many businesses have wifi as opposed to Bluetooth because of the advantages it has. Many people, for instance, who go to hotels are needing high-speed internet, which is what wifi offers. Bluetooth has some advantages too. It should be used when you need a low bandwidth.

If you need high bandwidth, then you should look to wifi. Bluetooth is useful if you need to send or transfer information from one device to another, and these devices are close by. There is better security with wifi than Bluetooth. If you need to move sound data to another device, Bluetooth is probably the better choice.
